I Feel Safe in the Shadow of the Almighty

Have you ever felt lost, powerless, or afraid of what the future holds?
There is a place where we can find safety and peace, even in the midst of life’s storms. In Psalm 91:1–2, the Word of God reminds us:

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”
(Psalm 91:1–2)

These words invite us to have an intimate relationship with God, our loving Father. He doesn’t promise that we will never face difficulties, but He guarantees that when we seek refuge in Him, we will find protection, comfort, and strength to move forward.

To dwell in the secret place of the Most High means to fully trust God—surrendering our fears, worries, and dreams to Him. It’s not just about going to Him occasionally, but about living in His presence, like someone who has found a safe home to which they can always return.

When we make the Lord our refuge, we learn that we are never alone. He is a fortress that cannot be shaken, even when everything around us seems to fall apart. In God, there is rest for the weary soul and courage to face challenges.

Today, you can choose to trust. Declare with faith:
“The Lord is my refuge and my fortress!”
He is ready to take care of you, protect your journey, and renew your strength.
Under the shadow of the Almighty, you will always be safe.

Protected by God

Seek God’s Presence: Set aside time to pray, read the Bible, and strengthen your intimacy with the Lord.

Trust God’s Plans: Surrender your fears and worries, knowing that He is faithful to care for you.

Declare Your Faith in God: Affirm with words and actions that the Lord is your strength and your source of security.

Prayer

Lord, You are my refuge and my fortress.
In You, I find peace and safety.
I place my fears, worries, and dreams in Your hands.
Help me to trust You completely and to seek Your presence every day.
Strengthen my faith and guide my steps.
Thank You for Your protection and infinite love.
Amen.

Sincerely, Pastor Guillermo Ayala
