Reading Time: 3 minutes
Base Verse: 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 (NKJV)
“Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.”
How Should We Live Until Christ Returns?
Jesus taught us to pray: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). As we await His return, it’s not just about enduring time, but about actively living out His will here and now. This involves seeking God’s guidance in our daily decisions, loving others, and being living witnesses of His grace. Our lives should be a constant preparation, a reflection of the values of the Kingdom of God.
Being Blameless in Holiness
Paul prays that believers may be established in their hearts, blameless in holiness. Holiness is not human perfection but separation for God. To be blameless means to live in such a way that there is no cause for reproach, that our testimony shines without blemish. It is a call to a life of integrity, where our actions, words, and thoughts honor Christ at all times.
Waiting for Christ’s Return with Faith
Our waiting should not be passive but active and full of faith. We firmly believe that Christ will return. This certainty gives us strength to persevere through trials and motivates us to live pure and dedicated lives. Each day is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, trusting that His promise will be fulfilled in perfect timing.
Sincerely,
Pastor Guillermo Ayala
