Key Verse: Ezekiel 36:26″

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

1. The Need for Change
Verse: Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Many times we wonder why we don’t see fruit in our spiritual life. The truth is, everything begins with a decision: to recognize that we need change. God does not force His will upon us, but He is always willing to respond to those who cry out to Him, who seek Him sincerely.
He wants to transform our hearts, but first, we must ask, seek, and long for it. The heart of stone—hard, indifferent, resistant to God’s voice—must be replaced with a heart of flesh, sensitive to His direction.

2. The Process of Transformation
Verse: Matthew 13:1-23 (The Parable of the Sower)

Jesus explained that the Word of God is like a seed, and the human heart is the soil where that seed falls.
Some hearts are hardened by sin, others are shallow and cannot endure trials, some are full of thorns such as the worries and cares of this life… but there is also good, fertile, prepared soil.
Spiritual transformation does not happen overnight. It is a process of cleansing, breaking the hardness of the heart, removing stones and thorns.
God works in us: through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, and also through the circumstances we experience. He is preparing our hearts to be fertile ground that receives His seed with joy and produces abundant fruit.

3. The Fruit of the Heart
Verse: John 6:66
“From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.”

The true fruit of the heart is revealed over time. It’s not just about starting well but remaining faithful to Jesus until the end.
Many began walking with Him, but when the message became more challenging or the demands clearer, they turned their backs and walked away.
Fertile soil doesn’t just produce in the moment; it yields constant, enduring, life-filled fruit.
A heart transformed by God is one that listens to His voice, stands firm in trials, and bears the fruits of love, obedience, and faith.
It doesn’t give up when others walk away, but remains rooted in Christ, knowing that He alone has the words of eternal life.

Sincerely,
Pastor Guillermo Ayala
